Why We Created Miles To Go

I have come across many people who are stuck in creating the adventurous life they want because they lack confidence, self-worth, self-belief, negative self-talk and have anxious and fearful thoughts, beliefs and feelings around things such as money, adventuring, escaping the 9-5 and joining outdoorsy groups where they don’t know anyone.

So British adventure athlete Laura Kennington and I wanted to inspire those women who have got in the way of their own greatness, to embark on that adventure that they’ve been putting off and achieve their greatness.

It doesn’t matter what gender, age, shape, size, colour, ability, or religion you are - and I know nature certainly doesn’t care - adventure is open to all of us. It’s important to our health, well-being, personal development and living-life-to-the-full experience.

With the British Mountaineering Council and all of the other kick ass and bad ass women out there, we want to create a new narrative. One of diversity, passion, determination, triumph, and transformation. We want to celebrate with you for being a ‘real’ outdoor woman. There is no ideal or perfect one as some of the media and society portrays - we are it.

So what do you think of the film? AND what is stopping YOU from going on your greatest adventure? Let me know in the comments below!

And a BIG thank you to Sky Rise Productions and Osprey Imagery for filming, editing and producing the film :)
