For years, I lived the corporate success lie:

Work longer. Be perfect. Say yes to everything. Outperform everyone. And success will follow

But it didn’t make me successful… it made me really ill.

After years of doctors appointments, I was diagnosed at 21 with severe chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME). Bedridden. Housebound.

A top London doctor told me: “Your life is going to get worse. There is no cure.” 

I refused to accept that fate. So I did what high achievers do: I attacked the problem head-on.

I tried everything. If there was a treatment or specialist, I’d try it.

But, nothing changed. I started to believe that there was no cure.

Until I found a short brain training approach based on neuroscience.

I was skeptical, but desperate. So I tried it. The idea was simple, and it made sense:

Your brain is like a muscle.

The pathways you use the most get stronger, faster, and become your default. 

And just like muscles, the ones you don’t use, get weaker and harder to use.

For the first time, I could see what was happening to me. My mind was stuck running the same automatic command on repeat: “I’m so tired.”

That thought triggered exhaustion and pain, which triggered even more “I’m so tired” thoughts… and round and round I went. I was trapped in chronic fatigue.

When I learned how to interrupt that pattern, everything changed.

I went from barely functioning to regular CrossFit, hiking Everest Basecamp and studying abroad. I truly believed I was cured.

But life had another surprise in store for me.

A few years later, the old patterns returned. I realised I’d put duct tape on a leaking pipe. I hadn’t fixed it permanently. So I went deeper. 

I studied how beliefs, identity, nervous system state, language, trauma, personality variables and behaviour shape performance and health. 

I learned how to create change that actually holds when life gets messy, pressured, or uncertain.

I permanently fixed the leaking pipe.

But as if to really test my method, life gave me another surprise…

Another ‘incurable’ chronic condition. But this time PMDD. A severe hormone imbalance.

Extreme fatigue. Suicidal depression. Severe pain.

This time, I slowly and steadily rebuilt myself from the mind up, using the techniques I’d mastered.

Fast forward today, and I’m living my dream life in Norway (cheesy, I know!).

I’ve coached 500+ ambitious leaders and executives to grow their career, break boundaries in sport, and live a life they love.

I’m the Performance Coach for the British Cross-Country ski team, and completing a MSc Performance Psychology.

I use the same proven system to help executives and high achievers lead at their highest level – without paying for it with their body, relationships, or happiness.
