Adelaide has delivered high-impact talks and workshops in 4+ countries across sectors:

Teams

The difference between good teams and great teams isn't talent. It's what happens to their focus, decisions and communication when stress and pressure rise.

Every talk and workshop is grounded in peer-reviewed sport psychology. The same evidence base I use with World Championship athletes, executives and high-performing teams.

Your people leave with techniques they can use that week, not a motivational high that's gone by Friday.

Events, Festivals & Conferences

Every audience has people quietly wondering why they can't perform the way they know they could. The answer is rarely talent, and it's almost never effort.

Every talk is grounded in peer-reviewed sport psychology. The same strategies I use with elite athletes, executives and high-performing teams.

Your audience won't just hear about performing under pressure. They'll recognise it in themselves, and leave with strategies they can use straightaway.

Schools & Universities

Students are pushed to work harder for the grades, and left on their own to handle the stress that comes with it. Rarely are they taught how to manage their mind to thrive. As a result, most arrive at exams stressed, exhausted, and anxious.

I translate peer-reviewed sport psychology and athlete stories into the school year and the exam hall. Students leave knowing how to stay focused, calm and be proud of who they are.

Every talk is built for the room

I don't have a set talk I give everywhere. Each one is designed around who's in the audience and what they're actually facing; from a leadership team under pressure, a room of women at a gym on International Women's Day, to students weeks out from exams.

Talks I've given include:

  • How to break the habit of being stuck — Luster Trening, International Women's Day 2025

  • Mastering your inner dialogue — Women in the Built Environment, global audience

  • Why your brain quits before your legs do — The London Triathlon Show

Formats: 30-min+ talk, half-day workshop, or a full-day team programme. In person across Norway, or online. Will travel outside of Norway for the right event.

Fee: The fee depends on format, preparation and travel. Reduced rates for schools, clubs and charities.

I deliver more than a short-lived motivational and inspirational high.

My talks give your audience practical tools to perform under pressure, recover faster, sustain high performance without burning out and become more joyful.

From Bedridden to Ironman and Performance Coach

For years, I chased my career. But it didn’t make me successful — it made me really ill. Bedridden. Housebound. For years.

A London specialist eventually diagnosed me with severe chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME) and told me:

“Your life is going to get worse. There is no cure.”

I refused to accept that.

So I tried every treatment, every specialist. Followed advice from influencers and coaches.

Nothing changed.

Until I found an approach based on neuroscience and psychology.

The idea was simple: your brain is like a muscle.

The neuropathways you use the most get stronger, faster and become your default. And just like muscles, the ones you don’t use, get weaker and harder to use.

I finally understood that my brain was stuck running the same negative loop on repeat: "I'm so tired".

That thought triggered exhaustion and pain, which triggered more "I'm so tired" thoughts. Round and round I went. Trapped.

I learned how to interrupt that pattern and rebuild my neuropathways.

The results were fast. From barely functioning to CrossFit, hiking Everest Basecamp, to an Ironman podium. I thought I was cured.

But the old patterns crept back. I realised I’d put duct tape on a leaking pipe. Not a permanent fix.

So I went deeper.

I studied how beliefs, identity, nervous system state, self-talk, and trauma shape performance, happiness and health.

My MSc Sport Performance Psychology showed me how to refine, optimise and personalise performance.

I learned how to create change that actually holds, even when life gets messy, pressured, or uncertain.

I ripped the duct tape off and fixed that leaking pipe permanently.

I know your audience isn’t chronically fatigued. But they’re likely running their own version of the loop I was stuck in.

An automatic default that's kept them surviving, but not joyful. Successful, but limited. Performing, but never quite achieving their potential.

From coaching 500+ leaders, athletes, leaders and teams, I’ve seen this same heartbreaking story play out.

High achievers chasing their careers by working harder and longer, sacrificing the things that matter to them.

But still, their goals feel out of reach. And they’re exhausted.

What actually works is spotting hidden unconscious patterns and negative loops, and building new life-enhancing patterns and positive loops. Just like athletes do to perform at their best.

Here’s how it’s worked for my clients:

→ One client watched his salary explode by £36K in 12 months with a new job and two promotions

→ The board personally chose my client to step into the CEO throne

→ Pro triathlete Allan Hovda broke the Norwegian Ironman course record and placed second at the XTRI World Championships.

→ Helped US paraclimbers to multiple podiums and top 10 finishes.

→ Helped 6 teams reduce cognitive overload, reclaim quality thinking and communication under pressure, and increase productivity and wellbeing. Read the case studies here.

From the people who booked me

The team really enjoyed your workshop. They’d been struggling, but Freya had a real awakening. She realized she can focus on herself again. The whole mood has shifted. We know we can make this work, and although it will take time, the team is a great one.

Adelaide had a workshop at Luster Trening in connection with Women’s Day 2025.
”How to break the habit of being stuck” addressed current issues that most women are familiar with from everyday life. Both employees and customers were given tools for further development and how to utilize the potential that is within us even better. Adelaide conveyed the complex nervous system in a simple and understandable way, even in English. We can safely recommend Adelaide, and would be happy to collaborate with her again.
— Luster Trening

Adelaide understands mindset. She understands the mental struggles of athletic professionals and athletes, and knows how to tailor her talks to appeal to individuals in all different sports and life stages. Her approach to mindset and brain training is inspiring, and it makes attendees really think in new ways and start changing their lives right away.
— Tanja Lyngholm Seim, CEO Geilo Trening & Testsenter

In the new world order of pressurized remote work, Employee Wellbeing will become an increasingly critical executive priority and Adelaide showed the audience of women from across the built environment disciplines in various countries how they are the masters of their own inner dialogue and almost unlimited success narrative.

Pure magic.

Adelaide recently spoke at Build Your Audience Live [June 2019, Central London, UK] - my annual event for coaches, creatives and entrepreneurs who are looking to build an online audience. Adelaide is a polished, poised speaker who engaged the audience from the first few words to the final sentence.
