9 Ways To Deal with Challenging and Stressful Situations

I thought the toughest thing I'd overcome this year would be a global pandemic and a long-distance triathlon - oh boy was I wrong!

By the second week of January, my accommodation situation escalated due to an unpleasant landlady and I was forced to move out (illegally) within 24 hours.

The accommodation was declared illegal to live in that week due to black mold, illegal ventilation and borderline illegal electrics and plumbing. My flatmate sided with the landlady and further made things very difficult.

But I chose to see this as an opportunity instead of an obstacle.

I realised I could find the flat of my dreams, which would give me a stable launchpad to serve more athletes AND live my life in a way I truly loved...

So, 11 moves later, 1 mouse infestation, 2X car break downs (couldn't drive for 1.5 weeks), hours of moving furniture, money lost, sleep lost, on-waiting laptop replacement, my beautiful and beloved soul mate Rolo unexpectedly and very suddenly passing away, and my parents getting covid 2 weeks ago (dad asymptomatic, mum thankfully saved by vaccine as she's high risk)...

SPOILER ALERT: I found my dream flat!
