SW 9 | Finding Your Voice: Janet Murray's Journey Through Controversy

In a world where the loudest voices often drown out the wisest, conversations that cut through the noise are vital.

My latest Staying Wild episode with **Janet Murray, Strategic Marketing Consultant and outspoken advocate for free speech and women’s rights**delivers exactly that.

It’s a bold exploration of courage, integrity, and the messy, magnificent journey of standing firm in your truth.

A Wild Woman’s Stand

Janet opened up about her own storm of public criticism and professional upheaval. What emerged wasn’t a tale of defeat, but one of grit, grace, and the audacity to keep speaking when silence and a public apology would have been easier.

This is the heart of the wild woman energy we celebrate on this podcast: strength entwined with empathy, honesty with compassion, and an unshakable refusal to shrink in the face of discomfort.

When Speaking Up Changes Everything

Janet’s story pivoted on a single moment, a video where she disagreed with the phrase “pregnant people.” The backlash was swift. The consequences, life-altering.

But so were the connections. Her stance resonated with thousands who had been silently grappling with the same questions. Janet’s journey reminds us that challenging norms isn’t about chasing approval; it’s about choosing alignment over appeasement, truth over tolerance.

Redefining the “Good Girl”

Too often, women are conditioned to stay nice. To prioritise likability, compliance, and keeping the peace. Janet’s story is a rallying cry against that outdated script.

To be a “wild woman” is to write your own narrative, to claim your space unapologetically, and to lead with both strength and kindness. Because as Janet powerfully shows us, compassion doesn’t mean compromise, it means choosing courage without abandoning humanity.

The Ripple Effect

What if every woman who felt the sting of judgment chose to speak anyway? Janet’s experience proves how one voice can ripple outward, inspiring others to question, reflect, and act with integrity.

Her story is more than personal, it’s a reminder that bravery, even in its smallest acts, can create monumental change.

Janet Murray continues to share her insights and advocacy on social media, inviting women everywhere to connect, reflect, and rise together.

And as for us, let’s take her story as fuel. To stand tall in our truth. To lead with love. To refuse to apologise for our power.

Because staying wild isn’t about rebellion for its own sake. It’s about living aligned, awake, and unapologetically alive.

🔥 Keep rising. Keep leading. Stay wild, Adelaide x

SW 8 | Stress Reset Visualisation + Going All In On Your Dream Life with Henry from Mountain Memorie

What happens when a Canadian-Bali-raised snowboarder falls in love with Japan’s mountains, buys a farm on a whim, and builds a soulful ski lodge from scratch?

You get Mountain Memories—a dream turned reality by Henry and his best friend Noah.

This episode has two wildly different, but deeply grounding, parts.

We begin with a short, guided visualization to help you tune into yourself. To tune into your power. To drop out of chaos and back into calm, presence, and grounded strength. It’s perfect if you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or caught in a cycle of overthinking.

And then?

We dive into one of the most inspiring stories of risk, creativity, and community I've ever heard. From building a snow lodge on a Japanese farm to creating a retreat that’s helping others dream bigger too.

Whether you’re a solo traveller craving connection, a skier curious about Japan’s legendary powder, or a creative entrepreneur wondering what it really means to stay wild, or wondering if your dream is possible, this episode will light you up.

Adelaide x

Part 1: The Guided Visualization

Before we chat with Henry, we begin with a simple but powerful mindset practice, something I record often with my VIP 1:1 clients and those inside Rise of the Wild Woman or my other online programs.

This one is for you if:

  • You’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in stress-mode

  • You’re second-guessing yourself or struggling with boundaries

  • You’ve forgotten what your power actually feels like

  • You “can’t meditate” or struggle to sit still, this is a beautiful, embodied alternative

I guide you to:

  • Drop out of your head and into your body

  • Melt away chaotic energy

  • Reconnect with your calm, confident, fierce self—in a soft and flowing way

And here’s the magic: even if you think you “can’t visualize,” just listen. Let your body respond. Let what’s not serving you fall away. You don’t have to do it perfectly. Just let yourself be. You can lie down, sit on a sofa, be outside, whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Then, grounded and tuned in, we flow into Part 2…

Part 2: Conversation with Henry from Mountain Memories

What We Cover:

  • How Henry’s childhood in Bali sparked a love for creation and risk-taking

  • The serendipitous moment he first touched snow in Japan, and how it changed everything

  • From chalet boys to business owners: the unexpected evolution of Mountain Memories

  • Buying a farm with no money: the full story behind their crowdfunded leap

  • Creating space for others to dream big through their Inspire internship program

  • The chaotic magic of running your first snow season (and why you shouldn’t look at projections)

  • Building a values-led business from day one

  • Solo travel, ski culture, and why Japan's powder scene is unlike anywhere else on Earth

  • Powder lessons, retreat-style trips, and what’s coming next at Mountain Memories

  • Henry’s advice for anyone too scared to follow their wild, true self

Quotes to Remember:

“There was never a question of if we could do it. It was just—how do we make it happen?”

“We didn’t do any accounting. We just made decisions based on what felt right.”

“I’m not the best problem-solver. But I’m great at finding people who are, and getting them excited to help.”

“Fairness, freedom, creativity, community—those aren’t buzzwords to us. They’re how we make decisions.”

North of Ordinary | Week 4 | What does it mean to follow your intuition? Your Wild?

Welcome back, wild ones. It’s been a minute. Turns out, podcasting on the road is a lot harder than I thought… especially when you're road-tripping across Norway, chasing the midnight sun, and trying to balance rest, work, and wonder!

This summer was meant to be a blend of vacation and creative productivity. In reality? It’s been an emotional, physical, and spiritual adventure… and also a bit exhausting. But oh, the insights, adventures and realisations I’ve gathered.

Let’s dive in!

Adelaide x

🌞 Midnight Sun, Full Days, and Unexpected Fatigue

The Norwegian summer stretches time in the most magical way. With the sun barely setting, I found myself cramming every glorious minute with hikes, swims, conversations, and spontaneous detours. No two days have looked the same, and that’s thrilling and tiring in equal measure!

I’ve never road-tripped like this before. Constantly moving, constantly choosing. Unlike a multi-day trek with clear daily objectives, this journey was guided by a different compass: my wild. My gut. My intuition. .

💫 A New Level of Energy. A New Version of Me.

Somewhere between the fjords and the friendships, I realised I’m not just recovered, I’m transformed.

Yes, I healed from severe chronic fatigue in 3 days many years ago. Yes, I recently healed from PMDD (severe depression, pain, fatigue etc.). Yes, I’ve done Ironmans. Yes, I’ve travelled the world. But I’ve never felt this level of lightness, clarity, energy and capacity. It’s as if my soul has caught up with my body.

This trip cracked something open in me. I’ve met incredible people, reconnected with old friends (some I haven’t seen in a decade), and had conversations that have rearranged my inner world.

🇳🇴 And Yet... The Visa Situation

Let’s talk about the not-so-glamorous bit: my Norwegian visa.

My current visa expires in February, and the renewal process isn’t looking as straightforward as I’d hoped. Initially, I was told it would be simple. But, plot twist, it’s more complicated now.

So I’m launching Mission: Renew My Norwegian Visa—a professional storytelling campaign documenting the next few months as I secure partnerships, serve clients, and prove that Norway isn’t just where I live, it’s where I thrive.

This is about determination. About sharing the reality of building a life you love, and fighting to keep it.

🧭 Following My Wild: What Does That Actually Mean?

It’s a phrase I use often, but let’s define it:

Following your wild is listening to that deep pull or ache inside you, even when it doesn’t make logical sense. It’s the fire in your womb (or belly). The yes in your bones. The knowing that lives beyond reason.

Sometimes it shows up as expansion in the body, a lightness. Sometimes it’s a full-body no that feels like contraction or skin-crawling discomfort. And if you’re not used to tuning in? That’s okay. You can learn to listen. It starts with slowing down. Getting quiet. Tuning in. Noticing.

This summer, I’ve followed my wild more than ever before. And it's birthed a version of me I didn’t know I was ready for.

🧠 What If Intuition Leads You Somewhere You Didn’t Want to Go?

It happens. I’ve been asked:

“What if I follow my wild, and everything falls apart?”

And my answer is: maybe it was part of the lesson.
Maybe you weren’t listening clearly. Or maybe the detour was the doorway.

Following your wild isn’t a promise of ease. It’s a promise of alignment.

So What’s Next?

Honestly? I’m not entirely sure. That’s part of the beauty.

I do know I want more:
→ More connection
→ More joy
→ More community
→ More ease
→ More space to expand

And I know I want to live somewhere with a vibrant social adventure scene. The visa journey is now part of that unfolding, logistically and emotionally.

So I’m setting a bold intention, launching a public mission, and documenting the ride. I’ll be sharing updates, behind-the-scenes videos, client wins, mindset tools, and the real, unfiltered story of what it takes to rebuild a life after chronic illness, and claim your next level.

Your Turn

I’ll leave you with two questions I’ve been asking myself (and now you):

  1. What does it mean to you to follow your wild?

  2. How are you going to follow your wild more, especially as we move into the final stretch of the year?

I’d love to hear from you. Slide into my DMs, leave a comment, or just take these questions on your next walk.

Want to Follow Your Wild? Live a Life in Alignment with Who You Truly Are?

If you’re ready to:

  • Gain clarity on who you are

  • Stop the burnout spiral

  • Align your career with your soul

  • Or lead a team to thrive under pressure

SW 7 | Unlocking Flow State, Fast + Following Your Joy with Splitboarder Emil Leenderts

Ever wish you could just switch on that “in the zone” feeling, when time disappears, everything clicks, and you’re unstoppable?

This week’s masterclass is your roadmap to unlocking flow state, fast. No monk-like stillness required ;)

Whether you’re chasing podiums, presenting in boardrooms, or craving more creativity and presence in your day… flow is a trainable state. And it’s far more accessible than we’ve been led to believe.

Inside this masterclass:

  • What flow state really is, and what it’s not

  • The classic formula (Csikszentmihalyi, Kotler & co.)

  • 9 signs you’re in flow — and 9 keys to activate it

  • Why the “skill vs. challenge” ratio is everything

  • Why most people overthink flow (and how not to)

  • The unconventional method I teach to drop in fast

  • A short guided practice to train your brain for flow

Key Takeaway:
Flow isn’t magic, it’s mindset and neuroplasticity. You don’t have to hustle harder to feel better. You just need to know how to tune in.

Conversation Continues: A Joy-First Life with Pro Splitboarder Emil Leenderts

I deeply admire the way Emil lives his life. He’s one of those rare humans living with freedom, intention, passion, peak performance and fun at the core of everything he does.

Yes, there’s self-doubt (he’s human). But he always returns to his why: joy, fulfilment, and building a life that lights him up, on and off the mountain.

What’s brilliant is how he’s created a sense of safety within that freedom, which gives him even more freedom, more fun, and more time for what matters.

We talk about:
→ How he handles fear and pressure in extreme environments
→ Building freedom with safety, not despite it
→ Following your fun, without apology

I walked away inspired, and asking myself how I can follow my fun in a way that feels even more free and expansive. I hope this conversation offers you fresh insight and perspective to live your own wild life, too. Enjoy.

SW 6 | Why You’re Still Stuck In Your Career (Even Though You’re Doing Everything Right) + Convo Continued With Bex Howells

You’ve done everything right.

You’ve worked hard.

You’ve installed positive habits.

You’ve optimized your calendar, listened to the self-help podcasts, read the books, done the journaling, maybe even flirted with meditation.

And yet… you still feel stuck. Still feel like you’re not good enough. Still questioning if success is meant to feel like this...

If you’re a high-achieving woman who looks like she’s thriving on paper, but secretly feels burnt out, lost, or like she’s quietly failing at life—this is for you.

Part 1: The Real Reason You’re Stuck

Let’s drop a truth bomb: You cannot better-habit your way out of survival mode.

Most women come to me after doing all the "right" things. And yet they still:

  • Overthink about work in their free time

  • Feel impatient, unfulfilled, or self-critical

  • Battle imposter syndrome and perfectionism

  • Feel like quitting, pivoting, or disappearing entirely

The truth? These are not problems. These are symptoms.

You’re operating with an outdated identity — one shaped by hustle culture, good girl conditioning, and the need to prove your worth by doing more, holding it all, and never dropping the ball.

You say you want freedom, but you’ve built your self-worth around being indispensable. You long for ease, but deep down, you believe struggle is part of success. That internal conflict? That’s what’s burning you out.

Part 2: Survival Thinking vs. Wild Thinking

Let’s reframe how you think.

Survival Thinking is reactive, fear-based, and rooted in proving. It seeks control to feel safe. It plays by the rules, performs for approval, and sacrifices self for success.

Wild Thinking is self-led, intuitive, and unapologetically powerful. It disrupts norms. It chooses rest, desire, and joy as legitimate strategies for performance. It lets success and sanity exist in the same sentence.

Breakthroughs happen when you shift from Survival to Wild.

Part 3: Your Identity Runs the Show

You don’t act your way into change. You believe your way into it.

Your identity, the quiet “I am” statements running in the background, is dictating your thoughts, your choices, and your energy.

If you're stuck, it's likely because you're still operating from an identity that belongs to an older version of you.

Ask yourself:

“Who am I being right now—and who do I want to become instead?”

Part 4: The Micro Shift That Changes Everything

You don’t need years of healing. You need one bold belief shift.

A decision. A line in the sand.

Like:

  • "I don’t have to earn rest."

  • "I am allowed to lead without apology."

  • "I am a woman who thrives—not just survives."

This is identity-level work. And it's the foundation of my 35-day self-study program, Rise of the Wild Woman. In it, we upgrade your mindset from the inside out so you stop self-sabotaging and start showing up as the powerful, self-led woman you're here to be.

Final Word: You Are Not Broken Nor Crazy

If you’re stuck, exhausted, or questioning everything, here’s what I want you to know:

  • You are not broken.

  • You are not too much.

  • You do not need to try harder.

  • You’re not crazy.

You just need to start thinking like the next version of you. The bold one. The grounded one. The wild one.

She's already inside you. She's just waiting for permission to lead.

Conversation Continues with Bex Howells

Bex Howells is a Coach, Catalyst, and Disruptor. She’s on a mission to challenge the status quo and close the gender pay gap from the inside out. She’s dismantling internal and external systems to expand human potential.

In this episode, Bex shares her bold transition from public servant to activist, leading a successful nationwide campaign in Aotearoa New Zealand for paid training in female-dominated professions.

We dive into her personal reckoning with burnout, the radical permission to slow down, and how reconnecting with the body and intuition became her true power source.

SW 5 | Mental Toughness Masterclass: Steel Spine, Soft Heart

Embrace Your Mental Toughness and Unlock Your True Potential.

Let’s be clear: high performance isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s for the ones with steel in their spine and a touch of wild in their soul. This isn’t just about surviving the pressure, it’s about thriving under it, without selling your sanity, soul or health.

Consider this your invitation to step beyond the grind. This blog is your aperitif to Staying Wild’s newest masterclass: Steel Spine, Soft Heart, where power, play, and peak performance meet.

Stay Wild,
Adelaide x

Mental Toughness vs. Resilience: Know Your Weapons

Most people throw around ‘mental toughness’ and ‘resilience’ like they’re interchangeable. They’re not. One keeps you sharp in the storm; the other helps you rise after the fall.

Mental toughness is your unshakable focus. The grit to ski headlong into a whiteout, fully trusting your legs will know what your eyes can’t see.

Resilience is the art of getting back up, wiping the snow off your face, and choosing the next mountain to conquer.

You need both. But knowing when to summon each? That’s where mastery lies.

Master the Dance: Divine Masculine & Feminine Energies:

Let’s talk energy. Not the ‘good vibes only’ kind, but the intrinsic forces that drive you.

The career world worships at the altar of the divine masculine: hustle, charge, conquer. Essential, yes, but only half the equation.

The divine feminine holds the secret to endurance. It’s the rooted power, the soft strength that sustains, not by force, but by flow.

Mental toughness blooms when you master both energies: knowing when to push, when to pause, when to pierce forward, and when to ground deeper.

Your Brain is Plastic (And That’s Good News)

Neuroplasticity: a glamorous way of saying your brain can change, fast, in fact. New neural pathways aren’t reserved for the young or the blessed. They’re forged by deliberate action, upgraded self-talk, and shifting out of victim-mode.

You are not wired wrong. You’re just due for a rewiring.

Your Self-Talk is Sabotaging Your Performance (Or Powering It)

We all have an inner monologue. The question is: is yours a drill sergeant or a secret weapon?

Research backs it up: confident, instructive self-talk boosts performance, whether you’re pitching to investors or free-diving off the Amalfi coast.

Your mind listens. Speak like the leader you are becoming.

Shift from Stuck to Thriving

The difference between stuck and thriving isn’t luck, it’s the mental loop you’re running.

Remember Spencer? From career derailment and personal implosion to a life overhaul so sharp it could cut glass. The catalyst? Shifting his internal dialogue from defeatist to decisive.

You can rewrite the script any time. Start today.

The Questions You Ask Shape Your Reality

Mental toughness isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about asking better questions.

Instead of “Why is this happening to me?” try:
👉 “What can I do with this?”
👉 “Who do I get to become through this?”

Performance upgrades start with perspective upgrades.

Final Word: You Are Not Broken. You Just Need Rewiring.

Mental toughness is not a personality trait; it’s a practice. One that sharpens with intention, recalibration, and the right frameworks.

If you’re ready to redefine how you meet challenges—with poise, power, and just the right dose of rebellion—the Steel Spine, Soft Heart masterclass is waiting.

Because you? You’re built to rise.

North of Ordinary | Week 1 | A Raw Diary Of My Solo Road Trip Through Northern Norway

I’m writing this from the back of my car/bedroom (glamorous, I know) somewhere in Senja (northern Norway), with saltwater on my skin, and a mind as jagged as the peaks that pierce this northern sky (chat GPT got a bit poetic and I liked it).

Week 1 of my Northern Norway road trip is complete. I’m road tripping solo with my passenger Princess, Woolfie. And if I’m honest, it’s been less of a holiday and more of a rebirth, in the best way possible.

I'm being brave and posting this episode raw, unpolished, and 100% unedited. Why? Because I'm semi on holiday, and I just don't want to be in front of a screen! This is me showing up imperfectly.

So, how have I stayed wild lately?

I ditched the dreary grey of June in Sogndal and went solo to a music festival on a remote Norwegian island called Træna.

Weather? Awesome.

Mood? Also seriously awesome.

I trusted the wild pull to go, and it did not disappoint. This trip has reminded me of how alive life can feel like… if that makes sense?

Highlights:

  • Hiked the Seven Sisters (well, the two hardest peaks… while cramping, still crushed it)

  • Danced sober all festival long (because I felt like it)

  • Partied ‘til 5am, sunrise and all, for the first time in years (maybe ever) with zero health crashes (also I think this is a first too).

  • Honoured my body’s needs for rest with pure pleasure (and just a little guilt)

  • Set healthy boundaries with people who crossed the line. No people-pleasing required thank you.

  • Followed my intuition north when the plans I thought I wanted didn’t feel right anymore

Basically: I said yes to what felt expansive. That’s the wild way.

I'm living proof that you can recover your health, party like a rockstar, and still trust your body. You don't have to drink to vibe, don't have to people-please to belong, and don’t have to stick to the plan if it stops feeling good.

Stay wild. Trust yourself. That’s the vibe. Adelaide x

SW 4 | Escape Burnout + World Record Holder Squash Falconer

Burnout Isn’t a Weakness. It’s a Misalignment

Your Spark Isn’t Gone. It’s Buried. Let’s Bring It Back.

In Part 1 I’m serving up your Burnout Escape Protocol. The exact 4-step method I use with my private clients — women who are leading, performing and achieving at a high level, but who are tired of running on adrenaline, caffeine, self-doubt, and to-do lists that never end.

Burnout doesn’t always look like lying on the floor crying (though sometimes it does).

More often, it’s showing up as the leader, the athlete, the high-performer, hitting goals, making moves, all while secretly feeling drained, foggy, and like success is costing you more than it gives.

You’re “doing everything right” — the habits, the routines, the mindset hacks.

So why does it still feel… off? Let’s find out in today’s episode ;)

In Part 2, my guest is none other than the fabulous badass Squash Falconer! Everest summiteer, world record holder, adventurer, speaker, and full-blown force of nature.

We talk about what it really takes to live life on your own terms, the joy in the grind, and how to follow your soul to become who you’re meant to be.

This episode is for you if:

  • You're tired of feeling tired, and are wondering, is this it?

  • You know you're made for more, but can't access it through the usual hustle

  • You want clarity, power, joy and career growth without sacrificing your soul and sanity

  • You need real tools, not another self-care Sunday

  • You want real inspiration — not fluff or click bait — from someone who’s actually walked the wild path. Who’s followed their soul, faced life’s curveballs head-on, and built success unapologetically, on their terms.

We go deep into what burnout really is (hint: not just overwork), why surface-level fixes don’t cut it anymore, and how to reset with radical clarity and energy that actually sustains you.

You don’t need fixing.
You need realignment.
Let’s make your success feel as wild and good as it looks.

Stay Wild,

This isn’t about slowing down your ambition. It’s about reclaiming the energy and clarity to go bigger, without burning out in the process.

Here’s a taste of what I walk you through:

🔥 Step 1: Lock in Your Power Moves
Define your 3–8 non-negotiables. The skills, habits and strategies that actually move the needle for your career growth.

🔥 Step 2: Precision Performance Analysis
Rate your current state. What’s working? What’s draining you silently behind the scenes?

🔥 Step 3: Time Allocation Check
Burnout is often not from doing too much, but doing too much of the wrong things. We check where your energy’s leaking.

🔥 Step 4: Clarity Checkpoint
What’s your next level? And what do you need to cut, shift, and commit to in order to rise into it with confidence?

This episode is a field note for the woman who:

  • Has climbed the ladder and still feels unfulfilled

  • Is quietly questioning if she’s “lost her spark”

  • Is ready to build a life and career that feels as good as it looks

  • Craves clarity, energy, and impact, without self-sacrifice

Whether you’re listening on a hot girl walk, a summer hike, or from your car between meetings, this one’s designed to light a fire in your gut and remind you who the hell you are.

Wild Episode: Lost in the Wild, Loneliness, & Meltdowns

This week’s Wild Episode takes us deep into the Norwegian mountains, and even deeper into the messy beauty of being human.

What starts as a dreamy coffee-fueled hike turns into a soul-cracking solo meltdown, a surprising twist of divine timing, and a hard-hitting realization about loneliness, and friendships.

Here’s what’s packed into today’s bonus episode:

🌿 What “following your wild” really means, influenced by a DNT cabin and a glacier trail that took an unexpected emotional turn.

🌿Mountain Meltdown, navigating isolation, the longing for deep connections, and the exhaustion of always adventuring alone. And a reminder: the divine is always listening.

🌿 Why accepting our feelings (even the ugly ones) is the real power move

🌿 Listener Q&A #1: “Have I lost my empathy?” – unpacking emotional detachment, nervous system fatigue, and how to lead with boundaries and heart.

🌿 Listener Q&A #2: “Why do I keep burning out, even though I’ve tried everything?” – why surface-level fixes don’t work, and what’s really keeping you stuck.

🌿Listener Q&A #3:  “What if slowing down means I fall behind?” –we unpack the real fear behind the question, and flip the script: how to ask a more powerful question that doesn't shrink you, but unlocks the breakthrough you're actually craving.

For anyone who’s ever felt alone in their wilderness, or like the universe just isn’t listening—this episode is for you.

Staying Wild Episode 3 | Becoming Unapologetically You + Ex-England Rugby Player Shaunagh Brown

This episode is your Good Girl Exit Plan. A strategic guide to becoming unapologetically you, reclaiming your power, and living life on your own terms.

Part 1 is a deep dive into the mindset shift required to ditch the "nice girl" conditioning, stop people-pleasing, and step into who you truly are, unapologetically.

If you've been achieving on paper but burning out behind the scenes or wanting to get off the hamster wheel, this one’s your call to burn the rulebook and build a life that actually fits. We’re not here to shrink, we’re here to take up space.

Part 2 brings in the firepower: a fierce conversation with Shaunagh Brown, ex-England rugby player, changemaker, and unapologetic force of nature. At the age of 25, Shaunagh thought, “Let’s have a go at rugby.”, and 2 years later she was representing England. Shaunagh shares how she carved her own path by backing herself, embracing fear, and following her passion.

This one’s for the wild women, the quiet rebels, and anyone ready to play a bolder game.

Let's get unapologetically wild :)

Masterclass | Good Girl Exit Plan: How to Be Unapologetically You

If you’ve ever found yourself holding your breath in a boardroom, saying yes when you wanted to say hell no, or downplaying your brilliance so you wouldn’t be “too much”… this masterclass is for you.

This week, we tackled the Good Girl Mask and how to break free of it–for good. Because it’s not just harmless politeness… it’s a performance that’s costing you your power, your peace, and your potential.

What is Good Girl Conditioning?

It’s the invisible rulebook telling women to be:

  • Polite over powerful

  • Nice over honest

  • Smiling while shrinking

It shows up in ways we’ve normalized: over-apologizing, people-pleasing, emotional suppression, avoiding visibility, seeking permission, and never saying no—even when you're at capacity.

It’s often why ambitious women end up burnt out, undervalued, and second-guessing themselves… all while appearing “successful.”

The Cost of the Mask

This conditioning hits hard across:

  1. Decision-Making: You say yes to everything, avoid delegation, and lose clarity on your real strengths.

  2. Leadership Presence: You downplay your opinions to avoid being “difficult,” and behave in a certain way to be seen as ‘nice’ to work with – not impactful, or powerful.

  3. Nervous System Patterns: If you grew up walking on eggshells, you might still be doing it at work, just in heels.

What protected you in the past is now preventing your growth. But here’s the good news: you get to choose who you become next.

The Shift: From Shrinking to Standing In Your Power

We revisited the Triangle of Transformation from Masterclass 1, mapping out how your beliefs, thoughts, and energy shape your identity, and therefore your reality (and results).

The current you might be living in fear, resistance, or hyper-responsibility.
But your unapologetic self? She’s clear. She’s calm. She’s powerful.

Start there:
✨ Who is she?
✨ How does she think, speak, lead, move?
✨ What energy does she bring into a room?
✨ How does she respond to fear, triggers, or resistance?

Even a 1% micro-shift a day creates exponential change. That’s not just theory. It’s math: 1% better daily = 3,778% improvement in a year. Wild, right?

Fear, Resistance & Rewiring

Fear will try to keep you small. But you can meet resistance with curiosity, not self-judgment. Use tools like the 5 Whys to get to the root of your fear, and have a plan in place for when it inevitably shows up.

Because the more you honour your knowing and act from your power, the more everything around you starts to shift. Your career. Your confidence. Your relationships. Your results.

Your Wild Invitation

It’s time to retire the role of “the good girl” and rise as the leader you were born to be.

Not polite. Not palatable. Not perfect. Unapologetic. Unstoppable. Unleashed.

Now tell me, who are you without the mask?

Key Episode Takeaways:

  • Why “being nice” is often a trauma response, not a leadership style or way to live your life on your terms

  • How to stop outsourcing your confidence

  • What it really takes to back yourself (even when you’re the underdog)

  • Why chasing perfection is safer than owning your power—and how to flip that

  • Shaunagh’s journey from athletics to elite sport, and the self-belief it required

  • The role of identity, fear, and tiny brave steps in building unstoppable momentum

  • Incremental growth > instant mastery

  • Fear is a compass, not a stop sign

  • You don’t need to be “ready”—you need to decide

  • Knowing your strengths is good. Owning them is game-changing

  • If you won’t back yourself, why should anyone else?

Wild (Bonus): The Raw, Real, and Slightly Unhinged One

Welcome to the very first Wild Episode! This is the slightly chaotic, completely unfiltered corner of the Staying Wild Podcast.

Wolfie (my husky and reluctant co-host) is here, shedding fur and throwing side-eye, as always, while we dive into what it really means to stay wild in a high-achieving, hustle-obsessed world.

In this episode, I break down:

  • How I stayed Wild this week

  • The art of following your wild (even if it makes zero sense on paper).

  • My favourite segment, Unhinged Moments

  • Listener Dilemmas Answered Off-the-Cuff:

  • How can I keep performing at a high level without burning out?

  • What if I’ve outgrown my current path... but have no idea what’s next?

  • How do I stop being “the strong one” for everyone else and finally prioritise me?

Staying Wild Episode 2 | Who Are You Without the Hustle? + Prof Skier Madison Rose

Welcome to the Staying Wild podcast!

We’re kicking off with a powerful masterclass: Who Are You Without The Hustle? A bold unpacking of burnout, identity, and the propaganda we're all ready to unsubscribe from. (Featuring a guest appearance from my reluctant, but beautiful, Husky co-host, Woolfie.)

Then, I’m joined by professional skier and mountain maven Madison Rose for a fire-side chat on trusting your wild, skiing through hormonal shifts, and what it really takes to elevate your performance—on the slopes and in life.

This episode is equal parts soul reset and alpine adrenaline.

You're going to love it! :)

Masterclass | Who are you without the hustle?

Welcome to the first ever Staying Wild masterclass on the pod. We’re diving deep into a question that stops ambitious women in their tracks:

In this solo masterclass (with a special cameo from my Husky co-host Woolfie), we’re unsubscribing from the toxic propaganda tying your self-worth to your job title, your earnings, or how much you're grinding.

This episode is a permission slip to opt out of burnout, self-sabotaging autopilot, and sacrificing your sanity for success.

Let’s start living your life on your own unapologetic terms.

We explore:

  • The propaganda high-achieving women are finally ditching

  • The identity crisis that hits when the hustle stops

  • The “triangle of transformation” (doing, being, and belief systems)

  • Why your results aren’t changing — even with new habits

  • The invisible architecture underneath your burnout: beliefs + identities

  • The one belief or identity you can shift today to step into your Wild Self

This is for the outwardly successful woman, but who’s inwardly burning out.

It’s time to stop outsourcing your worth to your performance and success. Let’s unlearn the hustle, reclaim your wild.

Key Takeaways:

  • Your beliefs are not facts. Start choosing ones that serve your future.

  • Burnout isn’t always fixed with habits. Identity and belief shifts drive true change.

  • You are not the crazy one. You’re just awake in a system built on over-functioning.

  • You can change your life faster than you think. Neuroplasticity is real and powerful.

  • One belief, one shift, one breath — that’s all it takes to begin.

Welcome to Staying Wild: The Podcast That’s Here to Rewrite the Rules

Hello Wild Ones, and welcome to the very first podcast episode of Staying Wild!

Hosted by Adelaide Goodeve (and occasionally co-hosted by her sassy husky, Wolfie), this podcast is for anyone who's ever been told to "tone it down," "follow the rules," or "settle for a life that doesn’t light you up." Spoiler: we’re not doing that here.

This episode lays the foundation for what’s to come. You’ll hear why Staying Wild was born, who it’s for, and how this show might just be the spark that changes your life.

Why This Podcast Exists

Adelaide’s mission is personal. After being diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) as a teenager, she was told—by the best doctors in London—that she’d be bedridden for life. She didn’t accept that.

Instead, she tapped into something deeper: a wild inner voice that insisted more was possible. This show is an invitation to listen to your wild voice—the part of you that doesn’t settle, doesn’t play small, and isn’t here to live a life of “shoulds.”

What to Expect Each Week

  • Masterclasses: Solo episodes where Adelaide dives into a high-impact mindset or nervous system strategy (10–20 mins).

  • Guest Interviews: 30+ minute conversations with inspiring leaders, coaches, creatives, and athletes who are living their wild life.

  • Wild Dilemmas: Your chance to submit questions or sticky situations—Adelaide will help you untangle them, Bond-glam style.

  • Bonus “Wild Thursday” Episodes: A more unfiltered, behind-the-scenes riff. Think: voice notes from the heart, vulnerable shares, and possibly some Wolfie howls.

The Origin Story

Adelaide shares her raw, powerful journey from being too weak to brush her teeth… to completing Ironmans, becoming a high-performance coach, and skiing the fjords of Norway.

She talks about the life-changing moment she discovered neuroplasticity—the science of how we can rewire our brains—and how tools like the Lightning Process helped her reclaim her health and identity.

But it wasn’t a straight line. Adelaide also opens up about her battle with PMDD—a hormonal condition that hijacked her mind, body, and nearly her will to live. It's vulnerable. It's real. And it’s a masterclass in resilience.

Why "Staying Wild"?

Because staying wild means:

  • Listening to the voice within, not the noise around you

  • Choosing aligned action over fear-based comfort

  • Living a life rooted in freedom, fun, and unapologetic truth

You’ll hear stories of transformation from people who’ve done the impossible and you’ll get the tools to do it yourself. Whether you’re a burnt-out high achiever, an adventurer in disguise, or someone quietly craving more, Staying Wild is your permission slip to come home to yourself.
